VOLUNTEER FOR FIRE & ICE
Calling all volunteers for Fire & Ice
Experience the beauty of our community in a new light, at Fire & Ice in the Park, benefitting the Fox Chapel Parks Conservancy. This special event will be a moving illumination of McCahill Park and the wonders of nature around us.
While you immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the natural world at dark, lanterns will guide you through the park and your discovery of breathtaking ice sculptures, carved to showcase species native to our local area. The unity with nature and one another, in reflective celebration of our local parks, is sure to be a magical winter night.

Children are invited to borrow a lantern to light their way and help spread Annie’s Light, honoring the life of Annie Whittingham at Annie’s Field of Dreams Playground.
At the Illumination Station Warming Hut you can gather by the fire at Eichenlaub’s CHILL Lounge, fill a complementary Fire & Ice event mug with hot cocoa, and enjoy treats provided by Three Little Birds Cafe & Juice Bar (while supplies last). You can also build your own first aid kit courtesy of UPMC St. Margaret and Foxwall EMS.
