Our first-ever lantern event was held in January, 2021 at McCahill Park. The Fox Chapel community shined brightly as we came together to celebrate the Fox Chapel Parks Conservancy. The event was well received and raised significant funds that will go to maintaining the protection and preservation of our parks and trail systems.

On the first day of spring, the Conservancy will light lanterns along a wooded path winding through Riding Meadow Park. Guests will receive a simple lantern that can be carried along as they meander quietly through the ethereal trail of light.

We welcome you to a very special nighttime candle lit wander through the gorgeous summer fields at Hardie Valley Park! Guests will discover ethereal clusters of Pittsburgh Opera singers performing under the stars, and encounter otherworldly dancers from Attack Theatre as they emerge from the night in this incredible experience!

n celebration of the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, theFox Chapel Parks Conservancy will illuminate the trail at charming Salamander Park. Please take a magical nighttime walk in the winter woods and help us bring light into the darkest time of the year.
